Description:
The poverty, reforestation, energy and climate change project (feat) will improve resilience in the municipal districts located in eight departments of the eastern region in Paraguay: Concepción, San Pedro, Canindeyú, Caaguazú, Guairá, Alto Paraná, Caazapá and Itapúa, the which were selected for their social and environmental vulnerability. FAO, as a technical agency implementing the project, intends that the selected monetary transfer mechanism has sustainability over time for the Paraguay government, since these transfers must continue beyond the end of the completion Of the project, there is currently a reference system used by the Ministry of Social Development, for transfers corresponding to social programs, including the vulnerable and very vulnerable population that are part of the Tekoporã program, at the national level.
